Overview

Targeted Victory is seeking an Analyst to join our team, focused on Media Insights & Activation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, media fluent, and eager to turn data into actionable insights that help clients navigate a fast-moving media environment. Applicants must be able to work in person at our Arlington, VA office.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor national and local news and social media to identify key themes, emerging trends, risks, and real-time insights for clients
  • Leverage media monitoring platforms and AI tools to capture, analyze, and synthesize information quickly
  • Draft reports and research products that connect data to communications and business outcomes
  • Refine recurring reports to reflect evolving media trends, new data sources, and shifting client priorities
  • Flag emerging reputational risks for the appropriate stakeholders in real time
  • Collaborate across internal teams—including Corporate Strategy, Public Affairs, Creative, and Analytics—to align insights with activation strategies
  • Stay responsive to breaking news, including outside standard business hours when needed

Qualifications

This position is for individuals who are self-starters driven to follow new marketing trends and opportunities, and should have:

  • Experience in digital marketing, communications, or social media analysis
  • Strong writing skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Flexible and available to work non-traditional hours as needed
